Sprawl obviously has its detractors, but as a long-term resident of downtown Vancouver, which has a development strategy that is often hyped up as the cure-all (read: snake oil) alternative to neverending suburbia, I’d way rather own a house in one of these desolate wastelands than I would an overpriced slot in a glass tower.
